ROBERT
ARNOLD MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

THE MISSION

This scholarship program has been established as a lasting tribute to Robert Arnold by the family and friends.

Robert Arnold Memorial Scholarship Fund

Robert William Arnold was a Math, Science, and Elementary school teacher for over 30 years with the Murphysboro school district.  Robert helped countless students- not only through lessons in the classroom, but through the way he lived his life.  He believed in leading by example, showing others the value of integrity, perseverance, and compassion.  He was “My Favorite Teacher” to many, and a first male role model to many young students in his classroom. He believed in everyone’s ability to always keep learning and improving, regardless of their aptitude. His legacy is defined by hard work, kindness, and leading by example.

This scholarship in his honor will be presented annually to a Murphysboro High School graduate with special consideration to one pursuing a Math, Science, or Education-related field.
