This fund was created to provide for Community Impact Investments that benefit the communities of southern Illinois.
The Community Impact Investment Fund is focused on investing in projects that generate positive social and environmental outcomes within a specific community or region. The primary investment goal is measurable positive impacts on the community, with a minimal focus on the financial return. This fund focuses on a “double bottom line” meaning positive community impact and financial returns to spur future community impact investing.

Investments from this fund typically focus on projects that address key social and environmental issues, such as food access/security, affordable housing, renewable energy, education, healthcare, and job creation. The investments are selected based on their potential to create positive change and contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
