JEFFREY GEE
MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
This scholarship was created as a lasting tribute to Jeffrey Gee for students graduating from Carterville High School.
Jeffrey Gee served his communities and numerous others in countless ways over the years. He was a pastor to many for over 40 years- from volunteering with various ministries in the area to serving as a youth minister. Jeffrey was a founder and board member of Herrin House of Hope; volunteer with Celebrate Recovery; member of the Carterville Lions Club; founder of the Williamson County 4-H Hands of Help; volunteer with Lutheran Social Services and Marion Extension Center; and member of the Blue Heron Marina. Jeffrey was the founder and owner of Bicycle Resurrection, which provided a bicycle ministry to folks who couldn’t afford transportation. As of December 2022, over 2,000 bicycles have been given away.
He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, scrapping metal, and cheering on his beloved Cubbies. Jeffrey loved spending time with his family and friends, serving the community, and pursuing new degrees to expand his knowledge on how to help others.
This scholarship has been established as a lasting tribute to Jeff and his impact on the community
