VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

THE MISSION

This fund was created to provide scholarships to students in Massac County who are looking to pursue vocational/technical training after high school.

The Massac County Vocational Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Massac County High School and Joppa High School, who intend to pursue a career in a vocational field – examples include nursing, physical therapy assistant (PTA), occupational therapy assistant (OTA), any of the construction trades (i.e. welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, millwright, operating engineer, etc.), farming, graphic design, etc.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Graduating senior from any high school in Massac County, continuing education at an accredited technical school.

 

Scholarship Requirements

  • Participation in one of the vocational/trade-oriented class during their senior year and participated in a vocational related competition, if possible.

    • Vocational Extra-Curricular Activities

    • Vocational Clubs/Societies/Organizations

    • Non-family related work experience

 

  • Essay on your vocational/technical career goals
