Our Mission

To foster and encourage private philanthropic giving to improve the communities of the southern Illinois region by connecting charitable donors with worthy causes and to build permanent endowment funds that will support those worthy causes.

Disaster Relief - Application
 

The Southern Illinois Community Foundation is now accepting applications from individuals impacted by tornados in Southern Illinois on February 29, 2012.  The James Family Foundation has provided a very generous grant, as well as numerous contributions from So. Illinois as well as all across the country and Internationally!  Donations have come from over 30 states!  SICF has begun to distribute funds to help with the immediate needs of Food, Water and Clothing.   

If you or someone you know was impacted by the tornados on Feb 29th, please complete an application for assistance either with the Red Cross or directly to the SICF.  Our application is available here: Application

Contributions can still be made to this fund through the SIU Foundation and at all branches of the following banks:
